On Tuesday (5 may), a march took place in Lviv to mark the anniversary of the establishment of the SS "Galizien," a unit responsible for crimes against Polish civilians, including in Huta Pieniacka. The Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) responded to the event, pointing out that attempts to glorify this unit "undermine the principles of honest historical memory and dialogue." In the context of the events, the IPN submitted 26 exhumation requests, nine of which were rejected, and some remain pending...They are practically still children – and often take their parents' generation as role models: neo-Nazi kids who present themselves in the style of the 90s. They call themselves "Deutsche Jugend Voran" (DJV), "Jung & Stark" (JS) or "Neue Deutsche Welle" (NDW) and are considered action-oriented and prone to violence...
